A week in Mexico
Mexico doesn't reveal itself all at once. It asks you to slow down, to look closer, to stay a little longer than you planned. Walk among ancient Mayan cities, swim in cenotes where light falls through limestone into still water, and wander markets that have traded the same spices for generation

Frequently Asked Questions
Still have a question? Write to us — we respond to every enquiry personally.

Not at all. Your guide speaks both English and Spanish throughout the journey. Spanish will find you naturally along the way — in a market exchange, a greeting, a word learned over dinner — but there is no requirement and no pressure.
-
Yes. We welcome vegans, vegetarians, and travellers with most other dietary needs. Please let us know at the time of booking and we will ensure every meal reflects your requirements thoughtfully, without compromise.
-
-
Don't worry — your guide will be reachable by phone and WhatsApp from the moment you land. We plan for these moments so you don't have to.
-
Yes, deliberately. Several afternoons and evenings are left open — a restaurant found by instinct, a square lingered over, a shop revisited. We believe the best moments of any journey are often the unplanned ones.
-
Two mornings in Cancún — on arrival and as you prepare to leave. Four mornings in Valladolid, a charming town with European architecture and cobblestone streets that becomes your base and, by the end, feels quietly like home. All accommodation has been chosen for character, comfort, and location — restored colonial properties, boutique guesthouses, and well-positioned hotels that place you close to the heart of each destination. Full details shared upon enquiry.

This journey is designed for travellers aged 18 and above.
-
Yes — travel insurance is required for all our journeys. No exceptions.
At minimum, your policy must cover emergency medical treatment, evacuation, and repatriation. We also recommend trip cancellation coverage — it protects you if illness or unexpected circumstances prevent you from travelling.
Once your place is confirmed, we'll send you a simple link to submit your policy details. We ask that it reaches us at least 14 days before the tour starts.
-
Pack light — this journey moves at a gentle pace but covers varied terrain. Comfortable walking shoes, breathable clothing, sunscreen, and a compact umbrella or light rain jacket for November departures. December is drier but the sun is strong throughout.
A small daypack for excursions, a reusable water bottle, and an open mind are the only other essentials. Full packing guidance is included in your pre-journey document shared after booking.

The Team - John & Abhi
Two souls met upon the road in 2014 — one from the new world, one from the ancient.
What you hold now is the fruit of that fellowship — seven days shaped by ten years of wandering, offered to those who believe, as they do, that to travel slowly is to live more fully.
