1. About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern every booking made with Shantu Travel, operated by Cashew & Compass Ventures Private Limited ("Shantu", "we", "us", "our"), registered at 1037c, Kutiya Road, Giridih, 815301, Jharkhand, India.
By completing a booking with Shantu, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and all members of your travelling party. Please read them before booking.
These Terms are read alongside:
Our Privacy Policy — shantutravel.com/privacy
Our Cancellation Policy — shantutravel.com/cancellation
Your Journey Details — the specific document issued at the time of your booking, which forms part of this agreement
Your Traveller Agreement — signed digitally at the time of booking
Where these documents conflict, these Terms take precedence unless a specific document expressly states otherwise.
2. Booking and Confirmation
How a booking is made A booking is complete when we receive your completed booking form, your signed Traveller Agreement, and your deposit payment. We will send a written booking confirmation within 5 working days. Your contract with Shantu begins from the date on that confirmation.
Your booking deposit A deposit of [25% of the total journey price — CONFIRM] is required to secure your place. The deposit is non-refundable except as set out in Section 6 and Section 7.
Balance payment Your remaining balance is due 60 days before departure. If payment is not received by this date, Shantu reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled and retain the deposit.
Group bookings If you are booking on behalf of a group, you confirm that you are authorised to act on behalf of every traveller named in the booking, and you take responsibility for ensuring all members of your party have read and agreed to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Traveller Agreement. Communications sent to you are deemed received by your whole party.
Rooming, special requests, and solo travellers Prices are per person based on two travellers sharing a room, unless your Journey Details state otherwise. Solo travellers may be offered a single room subject to a single supplement stated in the Journey Details. Special requests — including specific rooms, bedding configurations, adjacent rooms, or dietary preferences — will be passed to our partners with care and accommodated where possible, but they are not guaranteed and do not form part of the contract between you and Shantu. A failure to fulfil a special request is not a breach of these Terms.
Pregnancy Our journeys travel through remote regions with limited medical infrastructure. If you are pregnant, you are responsible for considering this honestly in your fitness self-assessment, consulting your physician before booking, confirming your travel insurance covers pregnancy-related care, and informing your guide on day one. We may, in consultation with you, advise against participation in specific activities where we believe the risk is unsuitable.
Minimum age The minimum age for standard departures is 16 years. Travellers under 16 may participate in Family Group departures with a parent or legal guardian. No unaccompanied minors will be accepted.
3. Pricing and Payment
Prices All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated in your Journey Details. Prices are per person based on shared accommodation unless a single supplement is specified.
What the price includes Your journey price includes all items listed in your Journey Details. These typically include ground accommodation, listed meals, in-destination ground transport, guiding services, and specified activities. Full details are in your Journey Details document.
What the price does not include Unless explicitly stated in your Journey Details, the following are not included:
International or domestic flights to and from the destination
Visa and entry fees
Travel insurance (mandatory — see Section 9)
Personal expenditure, tips, and gratuities
Optional activities not listed in your Journey Details
Any items of a personal nature
Price changes Once your deposit has been paid, your journey price is fixed except in cases of significant changes in government-imposed taxes, fuel costs, or currency fluctuations exceeding 10%. In such cases, we will notify you as early as possible. If a price increase exceeds 8% of the total journey price, you have the right to cancel and receive a full refund under Section 6.
Pricing errors We take care with our pricing. In the rare event of an obvious error — a price that is clearly mistaken on the website, in a brochure, or on an invoice — we are not obliged to honour the erroneous price. We will inform you as soon as the error is identified and offer you the choice of paying the correct price or cancelling with a full refund of amounts paid.
Payment methods Payments are accepted by the methods listed on shantutravel.com at the time of booking. All payments are processed securely by our payment provider. We do not store card details.
4. Journey Details
Each Shantu departure is accompanied by a Journey Details document specific to that itinerary. The Journey Details form part of your contract with us and set out:
Exact inclusions and exclusions for that journey
Accommodation and meal details
Specific activities and their nature
Meeting point, start and end logistics
Destination-specific considerations
Any physical or activity requirements particular to that journey
In the event of any conflict between the Journey Details and these Terms, these Terms take precedence unless the Journey Details expressly state otherwise.
5. Changes to Your Booking
Changes made by you If you wish to change any element of your booking — including departure date, travelling party composition, or room type — please write to hello@shantutravel.com. We will do our best to accommodate changes but cannot guarantee availability. Changes requested within 60 days of departure may not be possible.
A change administration fee of up to USD 100 may apply depending on the nature of the change. Significant changes that require rebooking will be treated as a cancellation and rebooking under the Cancellation Policy.
Transferring your booking You may transfer your booking to another eligible traveller, subject to:
Written notice received no later than 30 days before departure
The replacement traveller completing all booking requirements
A transfer administration fee of USD 200
Transfers are not permitted after the balance due date without our express written agreement.
Name changes A name correction fee of USD 50 applies to any name change after booking confirmation.
6. Cancellation by You
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to hello@shantutravel.com. The cancellation date is the date we receive your written notice.
The following schedule applies:

The full Cancellation Policy is available at shantutravel.com/cancellation.
7. Changes and Cancellation by Shantu
Itinerary changes Our journeys move through living places — weather shifts, communities have their own rhythms, and conditions on the ground change. Shantu reserves the right to modify itineraries where operational, safety, or logistical circumstances require it. Minor changes — including accommodation substitutions of equivalent standard, activity sequence changes, or route adjustments — are a normal part of how our journeys operate and do not entitle you to cancellation or refund.
If we make a significant change to your journey — including a change to the destination, a reduction in the standard of accommodation, or a price increase exceeding 8% — we will notify you as soon as practicable. You will have the right to:
Accept the change
Transfer to an alternative Shantu departure
Cancel and receive a full refund of all amounts paid
If you do not respond to our notice of a significant change within 7 days, you will be deemed to have accepted the change. We will state this clearly in the notice itself.
Cancellation by Shantu We may cancel a departure in the following circumstances:
Minimum group size not reached: If a departure does not reach the minimum of [MINIMUM GROUP SIZE — CONFIRM] confirmed bookings, we will notify you no later than 45 days before departure. You will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to an alternative departure.
Safety or operational reasons: If we determine a journey cannot be operated safely or to our standard, we reserve the right to cancel at any time. A full refund will be issued within 14 working days.
Force majeure: See Section 8.
We are not liable for consequential costs arising from a Shantu-initiated cancellation, including independently booked flights, accommodation, or visas.
8. Force Majeure
Neither party is in breach of this agreement where performance is prevented, delayed, or interrupted by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, pandemic or public health emergency, government-imposed travel restrictions or advisories, border closures, civil unrest, war, terrorism, industrial action, or failure of public infrastructure.
Where force majeure prevents your journey from starting, Shantu will offer a Journey Credit for 100% of amounts paid, or a refund of amounts paid minus any non-recoverable costs already committed to third parties. A transparent breakdown of any retained costs will be provided on request.
Where force majeure interrupts a journey already underway, Shantu will make reasonable efforts to continue the journey, offer an alternative itinerary, or assist with early return. Refunds for the unused portion will be limited to recoverable costs. Additional costs arising from the interruption — including extended accommodation, rebooked transport, or early return travel — are covered by your travel insurance, not by Shantu. This is one of the reasons insurance is a mandatory booking condition.
9. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is a mandatory booking condition. Your policy must be in place before your balance payment is due and must provide, at minimum:
Trip cancellation and curtailment
Emergency medical treatment and evacuation
Personal liability
Loss or delay of baggage
Insurance details — provider name, policy number, and 24-hour emergency helpline — must be submitted to hello@shantutravel.com no later than 14 days before departure.
Shantu Travel is not responsible for any costs arising from a traveller's failure to hold appropriate insurance.
10. Health, Fitness and Self-Declaration
By completing your booking, you confirm that you are in good health and physically fit to participate in the activities described in your Journey Details.
You are not required to disclose specific medical conditions to Shantu. However, you are responsible for understanding the physical demands of your journey and for advising your Shantu guide privately of any relevant health considerations on the first day of your journey.
For high-altitude itineraries and physically demanding journeys, specific requirements may be noted in your Journey Details. It is your responsibility to ensure you meet them.
Shantu Travel is not liable for health incidents arising from a failure to self-assess fitness accurately, or from failure to disclose relevant health considerations to your guide.
11. Your Responsibilities
Conduct You agree to treat fellow travellers, guides, local communities, accommodation staff, and all persons encountered during your journey with respect and consideration. Behaviour that is harmful, abusive, discriminatory, or disruptive to the experience of others will not be tolerated.
Shantu reserves the right to remove a traveller from a journey for conduct that poses a risk to others or materially disrupts the experience of the group. In such cases, no refund will be provided, and any costs arising from removal — including accommodation and return transport — are the traveller's own responsibility.
Local laws and customs You are responsible for complying with the laws, customs, and regulations of every country you visit on your Shantu journey. Shantu takes no responsibility for consequences arising from a traveller's failure to do so.
Travel documents You are responsible for ensuring the validity of your passport, any required visas, vaccinations and health entry requirements, and all travel documents. Your passport must be valid for at least six months after the completion of your journey and contain sufficient blank pages for entry and exit stamps. Shantu Travel accepts no liability for costs or losses arising from inadequate documentation.
Environmental responsibility Our journeys are built on respect for the places that receive us. You agree to travel in a manner consistent with Shantu's values — treading lightly, engaging with communities with sensitivity, and leaving places as you found them.
12. Our Liability
What we accept Shantu Travel accepts responsibility for the proper performance of the services described in your Journey Details, to the standard a reasonable traveller would expect.
What we do not accept To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Shantu Travel is not liable for:
Death, injury, illness, loss, or damage caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including force majeure
The acts or omissions of third-party service providers not under our direct control
Consequential or indirect losses of any kind
Costs or losses arising from independently arranged travel, accommodation, or services
Any loss or damage to personal belongings or baggage
Liability cap To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your Shantu journey shall not exceed the total price paid by you for that journey, except in cases of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, where no cap applies.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for:
Death or personal injury caused by Shantu's negligence
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
Any liability that cannot be excluded by law in your country of residence
13. Third Party Services
Your journey may include services provided by independent third parties — including local transport operators, accommodation providers, activity operators, and restaurants. These providers are not agents of Shantu Travel and operate under their own terms and conditions.
Shantu exercises reasonable care in selecting third-party providers. However, we are not liable for the acts, omissions, or failures of third parties beyond our direct control, provided we have exercised reasonable care in their selection.
14. Travel Realities — Specific Provisions
The following provisions address situations that arise in travel. They exist so that both parties know exactly where they stand.
Flights and independent travel International and domestic flights are not part of your Shantu journey unless expressly stated in your Journey Details. Your contract for any flight is with the airline, whose liability is governed by international conventions including the Montreal Convention. Shantu is not liable for flight delays, cancellations, rerouting, or their consequences — including a missed journey start. We strongly recommend arriving at the destination at least one day before your journey begins.
Official closures, state events, and public life The places we travel are living countries, not museum sets. Monuments, sites, roads, and entire districts may close — sometimes with little or no notice — for state visits, official ceremonies, security operations, elections, festivals, public mourning, religious observances, strikes, or civil demonstrations. VIP movements in India, highway blockades in Mexico, and royal or state events across Asia can alter a day's plan within hours. Where a closure or disruption of this kind affects your itinerary, your guide will substitute an alternative experience of comparable character wherever possible. Such substitutions do not constitute a failure to perform, and no refund or compensation applies for sites or experiences made unavailable by official action or public events beyond our control.
Trains, ferries, and scheduled public transport Some journeys include travel by train, ferry, or domestic carrier — in India and across Asia, these are part of the experience itself. These services are operated by national carriers and independent operators over whom Shantu has no control. Delays, cancellations, rescheduling, platform changes, and variations in onboard conditions and comfort are realities of these systems and do not constitute a failure by Shantu. Where a scheduled service is delayed or cancelled, your guide will rearrange onward logistics as quickly as local conditions allow. Costs arising from significant disruption are covered by your travel insurance. No refund applies for discomfort, delay, or class-of-service variations on public transport.
Punctuality, pickups, and departures Our journeys move as a group, and timings hold the day together. For every scheduled pickup — activities, excursions, and transfers — vehicles wait a maximum of 15 minutes beyond the stated time. For the journey's main departure transfers, vehicles wait a maximum of 30 minutes. If you are not present, the vehicle departs, the group continues, and you may rejoin the journey at your own cost and arrangement. No refund applies for missed activities or services arising from late arrival. If you know you are running late, contact your guide immediately — a phone call changes what we can do for you.
Airport pickups and drop-offs Where airport transfers are included in your Journey Details, you must provide accurate flight details no later than 14 days before departure. For arrivals, your driver monitors your flight and waits up to 90 minutes after actual landing time. If you cannot locate your driver, call the emergency contact number provided in your pre-departure information before arranging alternative transport — transport arranged independently without first contacting us is not reimbursable. If your flight is diverted, rescheduled, or cancelled, we will rearrange your transfer where operationally possible; where a new transfer cannot be arranged, the cost of alternative transport is covered by you or your travel insurance.
Itinerary timings Stated timings within itineraries are careful estimates, not guarantees. Traffic in Indian and Mexican cities, mountain roads, border crossings, weather, and the rhythm of the places we travel through all shape the actual day. Variations in timing are part of how these journeys move and do not constitute a failure to perform.
Language and local interaction Your journey is conducted in English, with Spanish available where stated in your Journey Details. Your Shantu guide bridges language throughout the journey. Beyond your guide, the people you encounter — drivers, accommodation staff, vendors, communities — may speak limited or no English. This is not a service failure; it is the texture of the places we travel. Where translation matters, your guide provides it.
Local purchases, shopping, and street transactions Anything you purchase during your journey — from markets, shops, street vendors, artisans, or anywhere else — is a direct transaction between you and the seller. Shantu does not verify, guarantee, or take responsibility for the authenticity, quality, value, or fair pricing of any purchase, including purchases made at locations visited during the journey or informally suggested by a guide. We are not party to any purchase and cannot assist with refunds, exchanges, or disputes with sellers. Exercise the same judgement you would anywhere in the world. Be aware that in some destinations, touts and commission-based selling exist around tourists; your guide can advise on trusted options — the decision and the transaction remain yours.
Connectivity Parts of our journeys deliberately travel beyond reliable mobile coverage and internet — remote valleys, mountain regions, places that remain themselves precisely because they are hard to reach. Wifi and mobile connectivity are not guaranteed at any point of the journey, including at accommodation, even where advertised by the provider. Disconnection is part of how these places are experienced. If you have work or personal obligations requiring guaranteed connectivity, plan around the itinerary in your Journey Details and speak to us before booking — we will tell you honestly where the silent stretches are.
Money, currency exchange, and valuables Currency exchange, ATM use, and the carrying of cash and valuables are your own responsibility. Use official exchange channels and bank ATMs. Shantu is not liable for losses arising from exchange transactions, card fraud, or theft of cash or valuables.
Visas, entry refusal, and immigration You are responsible for obtaining the correct visas and meeting the entry requirements of every country on your journey. If you are refused boarding, refused entry, or removed by immigration authorities for any reason — including documentation failures, prior immigration history, or conduct — this is treated as a cancellation by you with less than 30 days' notice. No cash refund applies. Costs arising from refusal of entry, including return travel, are your own responsibility.
Lost or stolen passports and documents If your passport or essential documents are lost or stolen during a journey, your guide will assist with practical steps — police reports, embassy contact, and logistics. The costs of replacement documents, additional accommodation, transport, and any missed portion of the journey are your own responsibility and may be covered by your travel insurance.
No-shows Failure to appear for a journey without written cancellation is treated as a cancellation with less than 30 days' notice. No cash refund applies.
Leaving a journey early If you choose to leave a journey after it has begun — for any reason other than Shantu's failure to perform — no refund applies for unused services. Costs arising from early departure, including transport and accommodation, are your own responsibility. Your travel insurance may cover curtailment for insurable reasons.
Unused services No refunds are provided for services included in your journey that you choose not to use — including meals, activities, accommodation nights, or transport.
Baggage and personal belongings Your baggage and personal belongings remain your responsibility at all times, including during transport, at accommodation, and during activities. Shantu is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property. Coverage for personal belongings is a mandatory element of your travel insurance.
Accidents and injuries during activities Participation in all activities is voluntary. You may opt out of any activity at any time. The specific risks associated with your journey's activities are set out in your Journey Details and acknowledged in your Traveller Agreement. Where an injury arises from the inherent risks of an activity you chose to join — rather than from Shantu's negligence — Shantu is not liable. Emergency medical costs are covered by your mandatory travel insurance.
Accommodation standards Our accommodation is selected with care for character, location, and comfort — judged by the standards of the destination, not by international chain-hotel benchmarks. Part of slow travel is staying in places that belong to where they are. Variations in amenities, service style, and infrastructure are part of the experience, not a defect in it. Where accommodation falls genuinely below the standard described in your Journey Details, raise it with your guide immediately — most issues can be resolved on the ground, and we can only fix what we know about during the journey. Complaints about accommodation raised for the first time after the journey, without having been reported during it, may limit what remedy is available.
Hotel and accommodation services Accommodation providers are independent businesses responsible for their own service delivery, housekeeping, facilities, and staff conduct. Shantu's responsibility is the careful selection of these providers and prompt assistance in resolving issues raised during your journey. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, liability for service failures within an accommodation provider's own operation rests with that provider.
Restaurants and food vendors Meals included in your Journey Details are prepared and served by independent restaurants, cooks, and food vendors. Each vendor is responsible for its own food safety, hygiene, and preparation standards. Shantu selects food partners with care but does not prepare, handle, or control food. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, claims arising from food quality, preparation, or contamination rest with the vendor that prepared the food. Where you choose to eat at establishments outside your Journey Details — including during free time or on a guide's informal suggestion — your meal is a direct transaction between you and that establishment, and Shantu bears no liability for it.
Food and dietary matters We take dietary requirements seriously and communicate them carefully to our partners. However, we cannot guarantee that any meal is entirely free of any allergen, and we are not liable for illness arising from food consumed during the journey except where caused by our negligence. Travellers with severe allergies must inform their guide on day one and exercise their own judgement at every meal.
Alcohol Where alcohol is available during a journey, consumption is your choice and your responsibility. You are responsible for your own conduct, safety, and judgement while consuming alcohol. Shantu is not liable for injury, loss, illness, or conduct consequences arising from a traveller's alcohol consumption. Shantu reserves the right to exclude an intoxicated traveller from any activity — including transport, swimming, trekking, or adventure activities — where their condition presents a risk to themselves or others, without refund for the missed activity.
Marketing materials and photography The photographs, descriptions, and itineraries in our marketing materials are illustrative. They convey the character of a journey, not a contractual promise of identical conditions, weather, wildlife, or experiences. Your contractual entitlements are defined by your Journey Details, not by marketing imagery.
Weather Weather is part of travel. No refund or compensation applies for weather that affects the enjoyment of a journey, except where it triggers the force majeure provisions of Section 8.
Optional activities booked locally Activities you book independently during your journey — directly with local providers, outside your Journey Details — are contracts between you and that provider. Shantu has no liability for independently booked activities, even where a guide assists with a recommendation or introduction.
15. Wellness and Adventure Activities — Specific Consent
Certain experiences within our journeys carry their own character of risk or physical engagement. Participation in each of the following requires your specific, separate consent — captured in your Traveller Agreement at booking and confirmable or withdrawable at any time during the journey. You may opt out of any of these activities at any point, without explanation.
Yoga and meditation Our yoga and meditation sessions are offered for general wellbeing. They are not medical treatment, physiotherapy, or a substitute for professional healthcare. You are responsible for practising within your own physical limits. Instructors may offer adjustments; you may decline any adjustment or posture. Participation is entirely at your own discretion and risk.
Ayurveda, spa, and wellness treatments Ayurvedic and wellness treatments offered during our journeys are traditional wellbeing practices delivered by independent practitioners. They are not medical treatment and are not a substitute for medical advice. You are responsible for informing the practitioner of any condition, sensitivity, or pregnancy before any treatment. Treatments are delivered by independent providers responsible for their own practice standards; to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, liability for the delivery of a treatment rests with the practitioner who provides it.
Adventure and physical activities Activities such as trekking, high-altitude travel, swimming, cenote and open-water activities, cycling, and similar physical experiences carry inherent risks that no amount of care can fully eliminate — terrain, altitude, water, weather, and physical exertion are part of their nature. These risks are described in your Journey Details and acknowledged in your Traveller Agreement. By joining any such activity you confirm you are participating voluntarily, within your own assessment of your fitness, and accepting the inherent risks of the activity. Where an injury arises from these inherent risks rather than from Shantu's negligence, Shantu is not liable. Specialist activities are delivered by qualified independent operators responsible for their own safety standards and equipment.
The principle across all of the above Every activity is an invitation, never an obligation. Opting out of any experience — at booking or in the moment — carries no penalty, no charge, and no awkwardness. This is what Space to Choose means.
16. Intellectual Property
All content associated with Shantu Travel — including the brand name, logo, website content, programme names, journey descriptions, and all marketing materials — is the property of Cashew & Compass Ventures Private Limited. Nothing in these Terms grants any right to use our intellectual property without express written permission.
17. Complaints
If something is not right during your journey, please raise it with your guide or the Shantu team immediately. Many concerns can be resolved on the ground.
If you wish to make a formal complaint after your journey, write to hello@shantutravel.com within 28 days of your return. Please include your booking reference, the nature of your complaint, and the outcome you are seeking.
We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and provide a full response within 28 days.
18. EU Traveller Rights
If you are resident in the European Economic Area, your rights under the EU Package Travel Directive (2015/2302/EU) apply alongside these Terms. In particular:
If we make a significant change to your package or increase the price by more than 8%, you have the right to cancel for a full refund
If unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances at the destination make it impossible to carry out the package, you have the right to cancel and receive a full refund without a cancellation fee
These rights cannot be excluded by contract
Where there is any conflict between these Terms and your rights under the Package Travel Directive, your statutory rights prevail.
19. Mexican Consumer Rights
If you are resident in Mexico, your rights under the Ley Federal de Protección al Consumidor (PROFECO) apply. Any clause in these Terms that is contrary to Mexican consumer protection law shall not apply to Mexican residents. The remainder of these Terms continues in full effect.
20. Changes to These Terms
Shantu reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify active clients before changes take effect. Where applicable law requires a specific notice period or consent, we will comply. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The current version is always at shantutravel.com/terms.
21. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections applicable in your country of residence.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your Shantu journey will first be referred to good-faith mediation between the parties. If mediation does not resolve the dispute within 60 days, the provisions below apply.
For residents of the United States To the maximum extent permitted by law, any dispute that is not resolved through mediation shall be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, conducted in English under the rules of a recognised international arbitration body agreed between the parties, with the seat of arbitration in a mutually convenient location. You and Shantu each waive the right to a trial by jury and the right to participate in any class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding. Claims may only be brought in your individual capacity. This clause does not prevent you from bringing an individual claim in a small claims court of competent jurisdiction, and nothing in it limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
For residents of the European Union and United Kingdom Nothing in these Terms requires you to arbitrate. You retain the right to bring proceedings before the courts of your country of residence and to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform where applicable.
For all other residents Disputes not resolved through mediation may be pursued in the courts of competent jurisdiction, subject to the governing law stated above.
Time limit on claims To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, any claim arising from your Shantu journey must be brought within one year of the end of the journey to which it relates. This does not apply where the mandatory law of your country of residence provides a longer non-waivable period.
No personal liability Claims under these Terms lie against Cashew & Compass Ventures Private Limited only. To the maximum extent permitted by law, no director, founder, employee, or guide of Shantu shall have any personal liability arising from your journey.
Nothing in this clause prevents a consumer from asserting rights under the mandatory laws of their country of residence.
22. General
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
Assignment: Shantu may assign these Terms and any bookings made under them to a successor entity in the event of corporate restructuring, including transfer of the travel business to a new legal entity, merger, or acquisition. Any successor will honour these Terms in full. You may not assign your booking except as set out in Section 5.
Entire agreement: These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Cancellation Policy, the Journey Details, and the Traveller Agreement constitute the entire agreement between you and Shantu Travel.
Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
No third-party rights: These Terms do not confer rights on any third party.
These Terms should be read alongside the Shantu Travel Privacy Policy, Cancellation Policy, and your Journey Details. For questions, write to admin@shantutravel.com.
